Interesting quote. An article in small city paper of the homeless teens and their plights on the streets. There are five of them and one of them goes on to say -quote-
The Chilliwack Progress Newspaper (outside vancouver, bc)
Sarah Moores, 17, says the system doesn't seem to be set up to help young people in trouble...............
"My case just wasn't seen as severe enough. I've been abaondoned, mentally abused and neglected...At one point my mother couldn't support herself and left town. They had to track her down. I went to my dad in Langley (about 30 minutes away from Chilliwack, a suburb of vancouver) but he thinks he's a Jehovah's Witness but he's still growing pot and brewing his own alcohol. He also had hookers in the house constantly.".....
I am sure that will get the Langley cong. hopping today :)
