Are you like me, a good guy, and very very slow to anger? But then comes a time to explode when you get really mad, right?
Do you think that some people abuse of you because you are gentle? I was just wondering if being a good guy means you will be walked all over?
Have you been walked all over because you were good to others?
I never get angry. I just get even. I think that getting angry is a healthier trait.
Even on the highway when some asshole cuts me off, I don't blink, don't move, don't look over at the car. If I did, I think I'd run the bastard off of the road.
If I had my way, I would be one angry, yelling, screaming, unreasonable sonofbitch.
But, I've learned to smash that anger back into the brain......anger will get you nowhere. Subtlty and a resonable attitude always works in diffusing a situation, and later on, there are no regrets.

Three days later I am pacing back and forth in my office cussing out loud, blood pressure out the roof, and hands shaking. I am everybody's friend and I always take it with a grain of salt... for a short time.

Absolutely, and I hate that my gentleness is perceived as weakness. It always comes as a shock to others when I finally do blow up, because they thought I would take their crap forever and because they thought "I didn't have it in me".
Not the best way to operate; cost me my daughters. Probably more fair and kind to tell others in a calm, respectful way that they are hurting or taking advantage of you right from the start. A person can be too patient - to everyone's detriment.

It takes a lot to get me upset... Someone really has to try to tick me off.
yeah dammit (**(&^*%^&%%%$$*&*()*)()(_ i always get walked all over and when im outta sight and mostly outta hearing i yell like a mothI&*^&%^&$&^$*&^(&(*))(*I+_+_) and if anyone happens to see it there shocked lol. but i will say they better pray that there not around when im blowing off some steam cause then they wouild get an ass whoooping to make mother theresa blush lol.
