I have a question about the letters the Watchtower would send to the congregations about 20 to 30 years ago.
On the top of the letter it would say Watchtower then the address in brooklyn and phone number, and the word Cable watchtower. My question is what does cable mean?

Cable Watchtower was the pre-twitter equivalent Twitter account. It is hard to believe the internet is a new phenomena.
Ok found more info ...Cable means cable gram an old term of sending data on the over seas underwater cable network. There cablegram address is "watchtower" Thanks for all the knowlege folks
