I haven't seen the pictures although I've heard about them. I also heard one TV news show say the pictures are not real. I'm don't know who is right, but I do know that in general well established newspapers still have a lot more credibility than Internet sites. I still trust a newspaper with a good reputation for confirming facts over a fast Internet site. Even with the recent New York Times scandle, I'd be more inclined to trust it or the Washington Post than some Internet site that prides itself on being the first to bring out the story. So I think the regular news organizations should continue doing what they are doing for now.

If I were you I would be very cautious about lending credibility to photos plastered on the Internet complete with home address, phone numbers, tax assessments, home buyer info, etc. when the rest of the entire American media has not revealed even her name.

Sounds like a generated email hoax to me, or a boyfriend who is getting revenge on an ex by forwarding information about someone he dislikes.

Until this is confirmed, it will remain exactly what it is currently...

    Speculation and unconfirmed rumors.

I have seen some of these pictures on the news, with this particular girl blocked out.

Apparently, at least some of the pictures are real and accurate.

JT, I have a problem with calling her a "victim" until she is proven to be a victim. Right now I'm not convinced Kobe is guilty of anything except adultry, which he has admitted. Seems the young woman may have some mental problems in her past, so let's see where all this falls out.

Having said that, she has received some threats and posting her personal info on the internet could put her life in danger. Bug

    JT,

I saw the site (assuming it's the same one) last week. People at the board where I saw it were taking her AIM nick and adding it to their list and messaging her. I thought they were being pretty mean. oh well I stay out of it...

The "legitimate" news sources have confirmed that it is a photo of the alleged victim, and that all the other information is correct. Also, Tom Leykis, a well known syndicated radio disc jockey, has given out her name. It is scary, that this information is being printed, especially in this day and age of rabid fans, and nutcase stalkers. HOWEVER, I think it's just as unfair that the accused's information is given so freely before a trial. Not just Kobe, but many, many people who were eventually found not guilty live with the stigma of having their name and other personal information splashed in the media.
