I am a bit surprised to see what appears to be current and in-good-standing circuit overseers putting their resumes on LinkedIn

Do you know any of these, and are they legit?

I've seen a few elders on LinkedIn who list their occupation as "Minister at WTBTS".

    Yeah, they love their titles.

Because the only other title they have is Owner/CEO of XYZ Janitorial. . . . Doc

Why would they even need LinkedIn profiles? Those are for professional networking. COs don't work secularly.

I think that linkedin picks up a person's info from various online sources and sometimes will create a profile without a person's knowledge.

My daughter and granddaughter both have linkedin profiles and I am pretty sure neither of them created them.

And yes, the WT 'professionals' are abundant on linkedin. It seems like a social networking tool for a lot of them. Some of the qualifications and experience that they list is sort of sad.

Lots of the bloodless crew use linkedin, including HLC dudes

Some may be proud of a title, but many are on LinkedIn because they may need to get a real job in the future. An assignment is not future-proof anymore.

Where I live, in the Netherlands, a religious activity on your CV is not a recommendation. That is why many try to diffuse what their background is by using WTBTS, instead of the name Jehovah's Witnesses. The problem is that you have to explain a gap in your CV. Even Ex-JW's have this problem when they have been in Special Fulltime service.

Know John Graeff. Last I heard he was Preaching at The Port of Miami.

I guess these men and women are looking to make a few bucks on the side.
