I was just watching this on you tube
and although talking about the Mormon church I think in principle it well describes theJWs. I think one of the solutions he gives to why people are leaving (although sadly is unlikely to be implement by the GB)is "trying to build a more open Social community where it ok if you don't believe. A place where you can talk openly about your doubts and questions. Admit the actual problems that exist in the history".
Very thought provoking video.
You could just as easily substitute JW for Mormon and it would resonate in exactly the same way.

Interestingly it talks about the glitzy church, something which JWs have not really followed but the move to more multi-media and streamed content does reflect a slicker and more emotive method of capturing attention.

I also checked out other videos on leaving the Mormons and, WOW, so many similarities to leaving the JWs!
