According to the WT, who lead "Jehovah's organization" on earth in OT times?
The kings of Israel? The priests?
For the most part, they were the ones who led the people into idolatry.
What did God do in response?
He sent people from outside the organizational structure (prophets) to confront the organizational leaders with their sin and warn them to repent.
How did those leaders respond?
They asserted their authority and persecuted the ones who were calling them to account.
How does all that fit into the WT's view that JWs should obey the GB without question because Jehovah always works through his organization?
