I fail to see the problem, it's good media coverage for the subject, don't we all want that? It would be so ironic if this thread was deleted.

Failed at the end. Org wants to project aura of holiness and desperately wants to avoid bad press, admitting wrongs, apologizing to victims and being forced to shell out cash in reparations. Was perfectly set up to state this and muffed it. IMHO
