My observation to this letter
A useless piece of tool is more important and valued; so please call the police and lodge a complaint if it gets damaged; also if people show aggression towards you or throw insults towards you. Yes fight for those rights.
But when a child is abused , it is not a crime; keep them silenced; sweep it under the carpet coz they are not at all valued. Silence is golden!!! Really?

The congregations bought those carts. No individual JW owns the damn thing. Imagine if an individual JW would sell the cart on eBay, see what happens. Let's just see who claims to be the owner in that situation.
But they're prepared to lie in official police reports?And while in all instructions JW doing cart work are told they are doing that as a personal activity, not organised by or on behalf of the Congregation of JW, in these cases they suddenly have to claim they are official JW ministers?
Ugh. Watchtower plays the cover-your-ass game very well.

How quickly they advise the friends to call the cops yet when child abuse happens they are told to call the legal department first.
The hypocrisy is incredible!
Can't wait till the governing maggots end up on national television being exposed for the vermin they are.

I am astounded that Watchtower are telling the JWs to lie to police. The letter says to tell the police that the carts are their property and not the congregations. As someone said, just see what happens if you try and sell a cart on ebay.

Wow just wow. Asking people to lie in such a bluntly manner.
Since when carts are bought by private individuals?.... sinners right there.
so children abuse is ok then? Someone didn’t think very much when sending this letter out. 🤯

I know there is a lot frustration with Jehovahs witnesses who are more upset about a bent metal literature cart than child abuse in their own congregations. If you must have your say of disgust to them personally, so be it.
However, do not cross the line where they can file a police report and say that it was because of religious hatred. In the U.S. this can quickly involve the FBI and become a hate crime which could really ruin ones life. We are above these actions, and have rejected their nonsense justice, but we must have the faith that our governments justice will eventually prevail. We have on all our currency, "In God We Trust". Let the slow cogs of justice wear this mountain down.
As the ficticious U.S. President Andrew Shepperd said in The American President, "America isn't easy. America is advanced citizenship. You've gotta want it bad, cause it's gonna put up a fight. It's gonna say 'You want free speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, and who's standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.' You want to claim this land as the land of the free? Then the symbol of your country cannot just be a flag. The symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Now show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then you can stand up and sing about the land of the free."
