Have I got this right? People are now running, driving about looking for pretend monsters to kill? I think they have too much time on their hands and not enough useful to do with it.

Zeb, you apparently collect not kill these things. I had four Adult "children" at my home this weekend and I was just about DONE with these characters they were apparently all around my swimming pool, on my counter top, in my family room, just every where on this one acre property. Then they took off on scavenger hunts through the neighborhood looking for more of them. Calling for Popsicles and bottled water because it was only 98 degrees in the shade. These are grown ADULTS. LOL

Pokemon just entered our household. A young man a work introduced me to this game, I showed it to my 11 year old ( mistake? maybe, but I would rather get this novel game tried out and played with now than once school begins. I know her friends will be mentioning it to her sooner or later.

When I asked the young man at my workplace ( highly attractive, polite, humorous, intelligent, and ambitious) about the new girl he had been dating, he claimed he would focus on playing this game instead of a relationship with her. ( She is way too clingy, he said). He has been meeting neighbors he previously had not met because he is walking around the neighborhoods hunting pokemon!

It seems like video game meets geocaching. ( Geocaching, also highly addictive and much fun...perfect game for the retired engineers and such)
