Joe Williams, a columnist for the Guardian thinks JWs are more clever than the regular "norm of the mill." Since "theocratic warfare" didn't work in preventing proselytizing, it is wondered if anything can. See "Things you only know if you're not at work. Jehovah's Witnesses are cleverer than regular people."

It's funny, the Guardian was the paper that ran the exclusive report on Watchtower involvment with the United Nations.

In fact, things turned a little nasty.

Maybe they have had a change of heart. Either that or the guy who wrote it is a Dub.

Sad how uninformed people make uneducated remarks. Some Witnesses are very intelligent; but are totally ignorant of social skills. Hermits !

I think I detect a slight amount of tongue pressure being applied to the inside of the cheek in that article.

    Hi !

Well, maybe I was guilty of slight exaggeration

    lol..

I was speaking of the interaction between the Guardian and the Watchtower. After it had printed the story, the Watchtower replied with a lame excuse

The Guardian didn't stand for this poor excuse, and replied. Check the link. Maybe both sides wanted to throttle each other.

    Cya !

I thought that little article was a stitch! Just disappointed that it was so short.
