What things did you have the toughest time with after leaving the borg ???
I'm sure family opposition will rank in the top 5, cut-off by people who you thought were true friends, finding work, fighting lonliness, immediate family problems (wife / children).
Any thoughts ???
All of us will have a different answer, and a different way of dealing with, should be helpful.
Making new friends and changing my whole mental approach to life.
Undoing the mind control and doctrines... it was and still is a lot of work... but I've come a long way!

Getting rid of my percieved guilt.
Trying to fit in, in normal social groups!..............
Half the time I am wondering how people percieve me, rather than just being myself. I can remember a time when I had a witty sense of humor, I seem to have lost it!

For me, it was acknowledging that I was: A Jehovah's Witness.
I had a lot of shame, yes, many years post-JW.
Now, it's no big deal. I'm glad to tell folks who inquire, what the skinny is on the Dubs. I am more than happy to devulge.
