Too bad nobody saw this sooner or I might have made a run to check out the circumstances yesterday ... the (810) area code is not too far from here. I wonder if the Kingdom Hall was out of commission for some reason? And isn't it odd for the JWs to have this announcement in the paper with all those other religions of "Christendom"?

Well if this was yesterday, thier party got rained on.
I know of meetings being relocated because of building work, ect, we had ourmeetings in school hall for two years. It was great having the meetings underneath a huge tree at christmas time! The change of location was always spread by word of mouth, and certainly not in a religious section. Is this a wind up?

The talk was all on "Creation". I think Brother Shammus was supposed to be giving a talk at the state hospital. Or was that "our" Shamus?
The PO in my old congregation was a bethel elder; occasionally, when he would get sent out to other states as a speaker, they would have a special meeting out in a park.

Okay, it's me giving the talk, ok? I'm giving a talk on how to be more self-rightcheous and cause more division in the witness congregations by being more judgmental. In effect, it is about marking everyone in the congregation as "bad assosiation" and disbanding forever.....
