Here's an interesting website with a collection of recorded talks by many of the 'historic' people in the WT organization. I only listened to one, by AH MacMillan, from about 1960 or so, but there are many to choose from. I can't imagine where they got a hold of these.

I found it accidentally while searching for the name Ciranko, which is the name of the president of the WT society (I think). We had a circuit overseer named Dick Ciranko back about thirty years ago and there are a few of his talks in the collection here. But I think the WT president is a different person; maybe they are related.

Over 1000 files! Does anyone know of a way to mass download them all instead of individually?

Don't get me wrong. I realize they're all probably chock-full of bovine effluvia. But having a recording might come in handy one day when someone says, "We never said that!"

Wow that is an amazing collection! Many familiar names. Dave Ianelli, writing committee, was a very good speaker and seemed very sensitive to the flock's needs. A few of his talks morphed into WT articles. I was amazed how the WT could destroy a very sincere, helpful talk into standard WT crap.

Anyway...this list is walk down memory lane. Thank you for sharing.

If you use 'firefox', then you can do it with this add on called 'DownThemAll'

Thanks, jayvee! It took me a little figurin' to get it working, but now it's goin' like a champ!

FYI, I'm not going to clutter up my SSD with that crap, but I'll keep the steaming pile of spiritual food on an SD card just in case I ever need to prove that a certain person said this or that in a certain talk.

Many thanks to dropoffyourkeylee for sharing this gem of a resource with us.
