Instead I would rather spend my days picking fresh cherries from a tree, in fact I am having so much fun I have got the whole family involved, and the freezer is full of red berries, black currents, and today is more strawberry picking. I have also gone to a farm and made my own yummy honey.

Anyway have you been berry picking? Do you have any ideas how I can really enjoy my fresh goodies? The wife has been making some red current Jam and my boy loves his whipped cream on strawberries.

I would just like to add, on one of my walks along the canal to pick berries I met an ex-witnesss, and if you think i am sad berry picking, he had a pair of binoculars around his neck and had taken up bird watching. And why not? I am glad he likes poking around the countryside with his bird watcher friends watching birds, in a dirty green floppy hat, a mackintosh, and waterproof pants. I hope today he discovers a rare bird and gets over-existed. ( Think about it, it's better than knocking on doors, now that's weird :-)

Those who still have family in may need to reason about the WTS to try and get loved ones to see TTATT, but those of us who've made it out and have no family left in should at some stage let go of the organisation to some extent.

Taking walks in the countryside and picking cherries or watching birds is good.

Just about the only thing that keeps me interested in the WTS is the paedophile issue. Governments need to deal with that.

The Rebel. I would also like to acknowledge the Police Obsceinity Squard, and Laywers and most importantly those that have the courage to report such matters to the correct channels. Nonetheless I believe as an individual in my former congregation the best witness I can give to the " mind controlled" members is to be FREE! FREE! ...to bring myself, my wife and child up in a world where we are FREE, from the watchtower.

Do you have any ideas how I can really enjoy my fresh goodies? - I think your boy has the right idea: fresh strawberries and cream.

Easy to make and it tastes great.

Berries and cream, or alongside some pancakes, etc. The simpler the better with all that fresh goodness.

Picking holes is no fun. Blowing holes in the organization is fun and fulfilling! It's one of my many hobbies. The great thing about hobbies are you can drop them at any time and also pick up where you left off at any time.

    Cute title!

I love the berries of summer too.

Cherries are a great anti- inflammatory food eaten raw.

For blueberries and blackberries, when they get ahead of me, I like to make cobblers.

    BASIC FRUIT COBBLER

4 cups of fruit, 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup self rising flour, 1/1/2 cups of sugar (divided so you save 1/2 cup) 1 cup of milk.

Melt butter in a 2 quart baking dish, stir together flour and 1 cup of sugar mix well. Add milk. Pour into the butter and stir gently. Add the 4 cups of fruit that have been tossed with the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar do not stir bake at 375 for about 40 minutes till it's a golden brown.

The crust will rise by it's self that 's why you don't mix it.

Fresh fruit? The ones you don't eat right from the tree are good to make into wine. Or something alcoholic :)

An easy liqueur: Pack a mason jar with raspberries (or whatever fruit) add a cup of sugar and fill with vodka. Turn the jar a few times a day to dissolve the sugar and wait several months...around Christmas you should have sweet berry liqueur to toast the season with.

*or you can just make juice from the berries, save the pulp and make fruit leather. Two for the price of one - juice and leather
