It's weird that they are releasing a new brochure and a new book at the annual meeting, rather than a summer convention.
They have occasionally done this, most notably with the new Bible in 2013.
But these books appear to be pretty ho-hum. Why did they wait 3-6 extra months to release them?
Seems like a change with no clear benefit. People used to get all excited about "new releases" at the convention. I don't see the advantage to doing it in October.
Maybe they had last minute revisions and so missed a deadline?
