WT sued Faith Leaks for reproducing 74 video items. Faith Leaks apparently climbed down. WT must be up there amongst the most litigious religious organisations in the world.

...as far as I'm concerned, the real reason they made a fuss is because they just couldn't stand having anyone use their stuff in a way that mocked them, or - even worse - deconstructed their ideology.
Somebody at Faith Leaks screwed the pooch. It was a copyright issue, plain and simple. You can't take someone else's intellectual property any more than you can take their car. They should have used snippets to support whatever they were trying to say (fair use). Republishing 74 films was blatant (and stupid).
Faith Leaks were too blatant, but maybe have done some people a favour, why protect this stuff from being republished ? why are they ashamed of them ? These questions may make some people think.
