So I was using our current (Mankind's) scientific understandings to refute the possibility of a Global flood.
I was not being argumentative but used the reasoning found on JW-Facts.

How do you scientific minds help to show the accuracy of dates?
The WTS has been pointing out Radio carbon dating weakness for decades and they haven't updated their evaluation since early 1960's when the RCD was first developed.
There are more scientific procedures and tests that scientist now use for dating .
One of these tests if this.
For decades after Libby performed the first radiocarbon dating experiments, the only way to measure the 14
C in a sample was to detect the radioactive decay of individual carbon atoms.[58] In this approach, what is measured is the activity, in number of decay events per unit mass per time period, of the sample.[59] This method is also known as "beta counting", because it is the beta particles emitted by the decaying 14
C atoms that are detected.[62] In the late 1970s an alternative approach became available: directly counting the number of 14
C and 12
C atoms in a given sample, via accelerator mass spectrometry, usually referred to as AMS.[58] AMS counts the 14
C/12
C ratio directly, instead of the activity of the sample, but measurements of activity and 14
C/12
C ratio can be converted into each other exactly.[59]
For some time, beta counting methods were more accurate than AMS, but
AMS is now more accurate and has become the method of choice for

In addition to improved accuracy, AMS has two further significant
advantages over beta counting: it can perform accurate testing on
samples much too small for beta counting; and it is much faster – an
accuracy of 1% can be achieved in minutes with AMS, which is far quicker

In more recent articles, the WTS seems to use carbon dating to confirm comments of their own.

Dr. Amos Frumkin of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem says: “The carbon-14 tests we carried out on organic material within the plaster of the Siloam Tunnel, and uranium-thorium dating of stalactites found in the tunnel, date it conclusively to Hezekiah’s era.” An article in the scientific journal Nature adds: “The three independent lines of evidence—radiometric dating, palaeography and the historical record—all converge on about 700 BC, rendering the Siloam Tunnel the best-dated Iron-Age biblical structure thus far known.”

I love how C-14 dating is fully accurate and can 100% be relied to on to prove the WTS point about apocryphic works being from XYZ century...
But the exact same method, when used to invalidate the premise that that the entire earth was 100% covered in water for over a year, and the entire human population of the entire planet was 8, and the entire earth-wide animal population could fit in a large box, just 4400 years ago...well, you really can't trust C-14 dating.

For the "flood" purpose only, I will not use radio chrononlogy .... there is no need :)
Consider only Egyptian Chronology ... all Kings and dynasties are know with accurate date ...
Thus , when you see that Egyptian civilisation existed before flood ( saqara pyramid for example ) and
after the flood ... the same civilisation , with same gods , same writing system existed too ...
how is it possible if God's flood ... destroyed everything ?
Only 8 persons in the Arch ... millions of egyptian are dead ... and , just after water vanish , this civilisation
with all gods , all persons is here !!!!

Consider now ... minoeans civilisation ... same .. existed before flood ... and after flood :)
And as we say in "France" ... "jamais 2 sans 3" ... "Things come in threes". .. consider Chinese Civilisation ... :)
you can add , with reason, all radio chronology ... but JW will says that because there was "water" upon the atmosphere ... the quantity of C14 may differ ....
then you can only use other radio chronology but it's a little bit more complicated ... :(

The truth about what Noah's flood was in reality just an mythological expression by an ancient civilization ( Hebrew ) trying to create power and relevance to their select god, which to them was necessary and essential.
As its known now through archaeological findings there is no break in certain ancient civilizations like the Egyptian or Chinese civilizations, making Noah's flood a story of fiction as keinlezard pointed out.
