Wow, I didn't even know this about her. I had heard about her having a kidney transplant, etc....but never her upbringing. Gee, another celebrity with mental health issues, that's come out as raised as a JW? Colour me shocked!

I've read she was raised a JW and few days ago caught tail end of radio news she/Mom are launching a mental health program (online/radio?) after first of year.

Selena Gomez was Never a Jehovah Witness---LOL!

She was raised Catholic so she considers herself a Christian and attends other Christian Churches.

And as far as her mental health is concern, she is one of about 70 Million Americans who also have mental health problems.

Overrated

Being trapped in JW's you would have alot of mental health issues which Watchtower frowns on getting help by secular authorities or professionals. Growing up as Pimo I had to wear a mask that took my sanity. I was not my true self.This is what Watchtower takes from the individual Jw.

It's LITERALLY the cool thing right now to talk about mental health and to 'come out' as having a mental health issue. It's almost as much cred as coming out as some atypical sexuality, so can't take these things seriously anymore.
