Bizarre, yes but consider this ...

LINK (story unrelated to OP): http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-05-25/council-protects-gippsland-giant-earthworm-habitat/7444228?WTFJWs

This giant earthworm, unique to Gippsland, Australia, poses a potential problem to the doctrinal teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses. According to the current governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses the Gippsland earthworm migrated underground from Australia to the Middle East, or vice-versa, so as to be considered one of the animals on Noah's ark.

Gotta love that "?WTFJWs" at the end of the article link.

Not just a teaching of the JW's, but it presents a problem for all that believe in a literal interpretation of the flood myth.

If you can't find a giant earthworm, you could debunk all of the JW theological teachings with the bible...

JW answer: "Did you miss the point that it lives underground? It would not have been affected by the flood. You're obviously letting your common sense be clouded over by facts."
