I did a paper on this for college years ago. The Russian are the ones pushing the idea of this limitless oil source deep in the earths core. There is so far no evidence proving it. Every attempt to prove this has ended in failure. So today Rush put it forth as fact. He misstates that oil did not come from a few T Rex dinos. But that is not what science says. This is like saying humans came from Monkeys. Not what evolution teaches. Oil is thought to come from the biological soup that created small animals that under millions of years of build up and pressure created what we call oil. The idea of limitless oil is not supported much outside Russia.

Interesting - when I worked for an oil co in cali decades ago (summers/college) it was the ONLY oil co. allowed in/out of Russia (Dr. Armand Hammer had Russian connections - mother or father Russian born and he provided them with necessary medical products/etc. and pencils/necessities) and seems they had some serious oil then/resource rich. Hammer had already hit YUGE in Libya - I mean hit mammoth!
Russia needs help with exploration or what's the problem. Who cares where it comes from either they have it or they don't.

I heard geologists and other oil professional state in the late 60s early 70s (the top had worked at various oil cos throughout planet earth!) there was so much oil in the world it's ridiculous. When the Carter oil embargo was ongoing in this country - mid 70s (under the nutter butter peanut president) the professional oil people laughing their heads off. They knew it was hype - it would take a lot of evidence there's a shortage. -

Today April 20th a barrel of oil is worth nothing and no where to store it. Yet at the same time renewable energy is growing each year. Hopefully one day we will get off the need for so much oil. Still Totally ADD

STADD, Oil dropping in price does exactly the opposite of what you are wanting. When gas is 95 cents a gallon people drive big trucks and cars and renewable crashes because it is way to expensive over cheap oil. This if it lasts will crush Tesla and other electric car company's. Also where the heck do you think that electric grid to power the over priced Tesla POS cars comes from? Natural Gas and Coal. Wind and solar can not make up for what fossil fuel delivers. There will never be a Jet that can actually do work powered by a battery. Not going to happen. No one except the nut bar hippies and new age nuts will live in a grass hut and peddle a bike hooked to a generator to have light. People want to drive and not have to wait hours to get a charge in their car. Big tucks and trains and ships of cargo are never going to be powered by electric. I know that trains are electric but that electric is powered by Diesel engines on board. No cargo ship is gong to run on a battery or wind. We as a world are not gong to get off oil in your life time. Most likely not in a few generations and that is if they come up with new technology that can replace it. There is nothing on the horizon yet. Sorry but it aint going to happen. Tesla stock is all smoke and mirrors. People who are idiots and traders staying with it as long as its up are propping up a company that is not based in reality. Couple that with the fact that GM, BMW and VW and others are rolling out electric cars. Electric cars are only one small part of the fossil fuel situation. Factory's are not going to run on wind power, Solar is not efficient enough to do much. I am not against any of that but its not gong to stop the world from using oil. Oil and other fossil fuels are the only thing that is stable. Not to mention Fossil fuel is yummy and I love driving my vintage Firebird with a Rochester 4bbl carb and V8. I get more thumbs up waves and double takes than any POS Tesla on the road.

Jimmy believe it or not I know all that. I am just saying it would be a good time to change are ways even more to renewable energy. Time to wean ourselves off the teat of big oil. I also know oil is more than just fuel. It also used in manufacturing all kinds of things, medicine and god knows how many other things we are not aware of. That's all. Still Totally ADD
