Well, when I as a PIMO Elder, I had to self medicate with Scotch after ever meeting.

The stress was so much.

Hearing things that all of a sudden were not only BULLSHIT, but were a combination of Hate Speech and the suposed evil ramblings of an evil god, was just to much to not be numbed right after.

Iwantoutnow, I also self-medicated especially after meetings and I think that at least half of the elder body did the same.

It's funny because I don't drink liquor at all now.

Iwon, That compulsion is not limited to the appointed, or the anointed. Cult speech is designed to stress the adherents, and chemicals are one choice to cope.

When I was a PIMO elder for several years before my successful fade, I had to self medicate BEFORE meetings! Truth. I would take a few shots of vodka and then put another shot in my water bottle that I took to the meeting just to keep the glow going! No liquor breath with vodka and I'm certain that no one ever suspected that I was feeling good. It made the situation tolerable until it didn't!
