  Here is a comprehensive article about the policies of this church over the last 30 years regarding child sexual abuse in its midst. It is so eerily like that of the WTS, I thought I should share it. The article deals with the experiences of 3 women who have come forward, what the reporting laws are like in Wisconsin, and how the pattern of handling abuse is widespread throughout religion and non-secular organizations (Boy Scouts recent news article). I could not read too much but it mirrors my own experience with the WTS.

  Yes to both Vidiot and Biahi.

  It helps me remember how wide-ranging a problem child sexual abuse is. There is no institution or group that is not affected. Some are just better at hiding it.

  That's why I encourage those interested in helping find a way to help, it means dealing with all of it not just part of it. Eliminating one religion is not going to do it.

  Actually, I’d be very surprised if you found it in any institution/group - religious or otherwise - that accepted the discoveries of history and science regardless of the implications, and embraced fiscal and policy transparency.
