It's possibly because a JW crazy on Quora has accused him on there of being "a Russian spy trying to infiltrate the Watchtower".

The guy accusing him even changed his user name to be similar to mine to try and annoy me. He claims to be an "ex apostate and member of the vast apostate army" - but he's quite clearly just a crazy person.

I believe Simon accepts credit cards or paypal.
As I recall, there was a charge around $250 USD.
At the current exchange rate (approx. 1 USD : 1.36 CDN), that would make it around $340 CDN.
I would still contact Simon directly to see if there are any discounts or promo codes currently available.
