A recent post by Atlantis/ Petra was about destroying old books, some of which had been studied and placed over the years.
Is witnessing these days only about directing people to JWorg, are there books that are placed, or is HQ concerned enough about having ever-changing beliefs in print that they avoid it?

Jehovah's Witnesses don't know how to carry on a conversation about the Bible. JWs don't know how to defend their faith either. They've also in the past been very unproductive in placing WT books & magazines. So what does the WT leadership have the rank & file JW do? i wonder if these old books on ebay are being sold by jw's hoping to make a bit of money out of them ?
maybe the watchtower should put out an edict that if any "associates" do sell any old literature on ebay / car boots etc they are to hand any money over to the org.
i'm sure they could dig up a scripture to support their instruction.
I can’t see that they have featured a book in the Ministry in recent times. I suspect that is down to cost.
The technique seems to be 1) brochures 2)study the brochure 3) only then introduce a book

The Ezekiel book is unavailable in paper. Haven't seen any mags either. The line on Ezekiel is that it keeps getting revised so the paper copy is out of date. Maybe Ezekiel should sue for theft of intellectual property.
Aw Ezekiel book does not appear to be available on ebay.
If the old literature is being destroyed I guess the price will go up.
Bet you never imagined you could get £30 for this.
Or same book - £52 from this seller. But you can get it delivered by Christmas.
Thanks for the replies. I remember proudly placing books back in the day, full of confidence it was the truth. What an idiot I was.
