Has anyone seen the film dont know if its been discussed on here, im just watching it now with my dad he is an elder, he went to do something else less than a 1/4 way through the film, he doesnt usually do that. Then he questioned why i choose to watch it not suspiciously i think he was just curious. Anyway its a film worth watching, its based on true events about the coverup of child abuse within the catholic church.

Yes very shocking in its portrayal of how the church and its prevailing power, covered up these situations to protect their clergy and perhaps the outward image of the Church in general.
Sound familiar ?
Personally I would also conclude that those clergy assumed the church would do just that, exploiting the environment to which they conducted themselves.
