In collecting the baptism figures for the u.s. i was reading through the yearbooks and came across an interesting paragraph. In the 2007 yearbook page 16 it says the u.s. has 254,00 publishers in spanish speaking congregations and 26,000 in other languages. It also had the figure of a total of 3,742 foreign language congregations.
That figures out to 30% of the total u.s. congregations are foreign language. and 26% of publishers are in foreign language, during the 2006 service year. If you took those same percentages out to today it would figure to 4,247 congregations and over 320,000 foreign language publishers. However i believe those numbers are probably higher, since I'm assuming the growth rate is the same in english as in foreign language.
