New WT on "Hate" is actually a little bit based

The new public WT on hate, especially racial hate just came out and seeing as how left-leaning the org is in regards to so many non-sexual things (like mandates and lockdowns, guns, war, patriotism, freedom of thought and speech, climate change, etc.) I was fully expecting the magazine to lean into the media lies of black victimhood, etc. However was pleasantly surprised to see a few valid thoughts, such as this opening image of everything seemingly being blamed on the white man.

There were also a couple experiences of black men who admitted to starting almost all the conflict they got into.

Also the word "vandalism" was itself used a couple of times, not as a means of protest, but as a form of hate right alongside so-called hate crimes, and this was the final picture in that regard.

Of course, the thought they want you to come away with is that only JWs have overcome hate, and the only hope is a paradise Earth. There is also the blatant hypocrisy of seemingly promoting diversity and non-discrimination while doing the opposite, but besides that a few elements I never would've guessed they'd go for.

Ha!! Actually I'm totally NOT surprised, since as old white men they naturally are going to feel aggravated that everything gets blamed on the "Whyte man" (as people write on social media to avoid being picked up by algorithms). Not saying I disagree, here, just that they only have empathy for people like themselves*....so...why be surprised?

*They Also own lots of property so, again, particularly not going to like vandalism, even aside from their supposed non violent stance.

As the Watchtower is a business, it is of no surprise it would use a topic being used by mass media to sell its product.

" I never sat down peacefully with a black man". White superiority or pandering

The surprise isn't the topic, but the take.

    Neat....

Commenting on a need for the article before recent unrest.

A rewrite of the quote. Their take is a black man had to change, I rewrote it where a whyte had to change.

Oh okay. Except one is realistic and one isn't.

This is just the flip side of their stand back in the 1960s, where white people were supposed to move to accept blacks in the organization. This time, it is blacks that are supposed to accept white people, but only as potential jokehovian witlesses or those already within. Treat everyone as prospective jokehovians. And do nothing in the event of injustice outside the religion.

I wonder how long this stand is even going to hold up. If they can't even have a stable definition of "a generation" and stable doctrines on so many other things (including letting the jokehovians attend college or get decent jobs), I don't expect this stand to be stable, either. And I expect that they will be told that unvaccinated people are to be discriminated against--especially once they start having in-person boasting sessions again.
