As with Japan mentioned a little down the board, Germany, too, was viewed as the theocratic powerhouse in Europe.
In 1996 there was a peak publisher figure of 170,040 and an average publisher figure of 166,468.
Now, 5 years later the German Kingdom Ministry is reporting publishers totalling 161,841 (Kingdom Ministry April 2001). This represents a drop of around 2.8% in 5 years.
The same Kingdom Ministry also carries an Announcement appealing for brothers to attend Bethel applicants meetings at this year's District Convention. Especially needed are brothers trained in EDP and printing. Anyone wanna job?
