If you speak an untruth that you believe to be true, is it a lie? Does it become a lie when you discover and then fail to admit, or obscure the untruth? I would like to be a fly on the wall when the GB makes new doctrine. I wonder if minutes of meetings are kept?

Untruth are lies, when the speaker of them knows, or has any doubts, that what she/he spoke do not reflect the facts.

All untruths are false. Does that mean the WTBTS lied when when they believed that organ transplants equaled cannibalism? They may have actually believed that.
That's a tough one to answer.
Does the WTBTS lie when they revise their history? Yes. I suppose their only defense would be insanity.
