  March 30, 2020 - New Law Gives Sweeping Powers To Hungary's Orban, Alarming Rights Advocates.

  Hungarian Parliament passed a bill that gives PM Orbán unlimited power & proclaims:
  

  • State of emergency without time limit
  • Rule by decree
  • Parliament suspended
  • No elections
  • Spreading fake news + rumors: up to 5 years in prison
  • Leaving quarantine: up to 8 years in prison

  Today is the day an EU member state becomes a full-on dictatorship, as Viktor Orbán will seize unlimited power in Hungary.

  Trudeau opportunistically tried something similar, after sending parliament home for covid reasons, but fortunately they were able to make it back and vote it down.

  The police in the UK are harassing people simply going for walks in the country side, it's insane.

  And so the agenda increases...right on time.

  And NO, I am not doubting the seriousness of the COVID-19, just not insanely panicking like most of the people I personally know who are now willingly begging government to take away our rights in the name of health safety. I do believe though that in the name of "Let no crises go to waste" all governments are seizing this as an opportunity to increase or even take total control of citizens away.
