They say it's armageddon, but I think it's fooorrnicaaaation.

They are always talking about it. Hell, when I was 18 years old, they still thought if I talked to a boy on the phone it would lead directly to sex... I'm not kidding.

They would need a blood transfusion which I would happily consent to --- so I think it was my selfish feelings that I would get DFd for approving blood for my children

My mom had a rather wild childhood, which included pregnancy at 14, and marriage at 15. She had several children before she turned 20. Add into that equation a husband who was a substance abuser, and you have a woman who does NOT want her children to make those mistakes. She lived in deathly fear that "the world" would entice us to leave the protection of the Borg. When I left, she was terrified that something really bad would happen to me, but it didn't. She feels a little better now that I am married, but she still believes my family and I are going to die at Armageddon.

Happyout (happy to be out from under the fear)
