Never giving up the Ethiopian Orthodox Faith and its joyous holidays for a Publishing company gone bonkers. I love everything about being Orthodox Christian. My wife can stay or leave.

Is this a late one for 2018 or an early one for 2019?

Inkutatash falls on this Tuesday, and it will be 2011 on the Ethiopian calendar. My church's 27 year schism is over, and so now I don't have to choose sides any more. Not going is what led me to marry the JW I'm with now. It has hurt me spiritually, and I'm not letting that happen again. I'm going with or without her!

It was a century or two back where the powers of Europe decided the year should begin in March so that would play havoc with predictions me thinks.
Interesting thought the input of the Ethiopian calendar first i heard of it. thanks.

Jesus and today's Jews also celebrate new year from 9 th - 11 September.
It's a big festival called Rish ha Shannah.
The festival is about trumpets and rapture. About a new beginning And the coming of the lord
