A story I found on Google News . I cannot vouch for it's journalistic accuracy , but it is still interesting.

In an act of self-determination, the Wiwa tribe expelled the religious organization for contributing to their “cultural and spiritual extermination."
The Wiwa Indigenous community in Colombia has expelled a group of missionaries from a church built by Jehovah's Witnesses inside their territory, which had been perceived as a threat to the culture, traditions and beliefs of the group.

I hope the article is accurate.

    Good for the Wiwa tribe.

No surprise. I guess the Wiwa Tribe figured out the JW would not allow them to still practice their traditions after being converted to the JW religion.

The news is echoing across several other spanish newspapers in South America. Apparently JWs were not the only ones getting DFd and shunned by this tribe. I've always wondered how this type of missionary work actually ended since ever reading experiences in the yearbooks.

Fundamentalist cults, including the JWs, arrogantly spread their patriarchal, talking-snake, antiseptic messages everywhere they can - but they especially target those they view as "pagan" for special spiritual fumigation.
