We attended an orchestral concert last night. Before the show there was have a drink mingle thing and my dear wife met some sisters who she sees so many times a week and got into a round x round conversation on......fs arrangements.
No commentary on the music to come, the beautiful venue or the opportunity to take in such a concert. I went to the loo ....
Oh dear Zeb...I feel your pain.
Once we are out, it stands out so clearly just how dysfunctional witnesses are! They feel guilty for not speaking about "spiritual matters" (aka society stuff)
They also feel the need to "one-up" each other in just how "spiritual" they can be when they talk...
At a concert no less? So sorry mate!
This is because outside the KH and congregation they are not your friends unless talking about such things they have no conversation skills
It`s like trying to convince themselves and there Bros & Sis`s that they are no part of the world ,they are only at these functions to please their partner otherwise they wouldn`t be their

That may be just protocol, pretending to give an eff about each other.
Few of the dubs we knew involved themselves with the arts. Most looked at us oddly when we invite them to join us at concerts and the like. Now if it was a rock or country music group that would have been another story.
We're part of the founders group at the recently completed symphony facility and attend most concerts. Haven't seen one dub there in the last three years. Too bad for them.
