Prince was believed to have been in need of a double hip
replacement, an operation he rejected because it would have required him
to accept a blood transfusion, which conflicted with his beliefs as
Jehovah’s witness.
Since when does a hip replacement require a blood transfusion? I thought that ended back in the 1970s. I know literally a dozen JWs (including family members) that have undergone successful hip replacement without needing a blood transfusion.
Perhaps not all doctors who perform this surgery will agree to bloodless surgery but many, many will do so.
But, not seeing anything else that Prince was really to "bright" of a guy. (Joined a cult as an adult. Died knowing he was ill without leaving a will.)
