And if anyone works in Audio-Visual and does make-up work behind the scenes at the conventions - you know the speakers get made up. I knew one CO who just couldn't wait for the make up to go on.
Another, morning, noon and night was hairspray-dependent. Always had a superfine blow-dry.
One elder I knew used to love getting his mum's make up bag out and doing himself up as a the Joker from Batman.
