Can any one recommend any good books to read that have come out in the last few years? I haven't read a good book in a long time and I'd like to get into reading again. I'm not into autobiographies or sports books. Before i became a witness i loved fantasy and sci fi and true life kind of stories but I'm out of touch with what's come out In the last 15 years or so and I was wondering which books you guys might have enjoyed.

Just about anything by Taylor Caldwell! Though her books are not new. She was born in 1900 and died in 1985.

Dan Brown books, Da Vinci code, origin, inferno. All good Origin is about a computer scientist who develops a super computer that can predict how life became and where it's going

I enjoyed new sci fi novels, Sleeping Giants and Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuvel.

Ken Follet has a series starting with Pillars of the Earth. Starting in the 1200’s, he uses fictional characters but in an acurate historical setting.

It charts history right through to the ‘80’s, staying with the descendants of the original characters. 6 books in total, about 6 months of fab reading! I’v been through them twice.

And, this one too. If you can handle it. A tough read. It took me a couple readings to get through it. Really really raw and a little too real. A graphic and horrifying story of North Korea

I am currently reading the works of Conan Doyle. Yes, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. Old but beautifully written.
