lol hahaha
It is funny but some JWs you can reason with and they leave. There is a whole exJW community that have left. So I say keep trying. It might just work

Too true Kate, we never know when a seed planted will actually germinate. I am sure in my own case that I only eventually woke up because of the many conversations I had with people who posed awkward questions and thoughts, over the years.

It is my experience and seems to align with others, that it is actually harder to reason with someone that is not fully vested in the religion. Someone who feels in complete control because they have some secret disagreements with the org. Is easier to show the wrong to someone who is fully convinced that they understand every doctrine and have no disagreements with the org. -

I think it's difficult to reason with any person who has fundamental religious views - not just JWs.
