There is an auction of Ebay for a copy of this Watchtower booklet:

the person running the auction says, "THIS TRACT IS OUT OF PRINT SOMETHING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO USE PICTURES OF PANDA BEARS IF I REMEMBER IT CORRECTLY."

I have never heard anything like this before. Is this "new light"????

By the way, what was the publication date for this booklet?

Unbelievable Did anyone actually bid on this? It must be recent because I'd never seen it before. Maybe the International Wildlife people who use the panda as a symbol got mad.. but I doubt it. probably just a ploy to sell a worthless piece of s**t.

I remember when they changed it.

    I don't remember why.

I heard it was because everyone was calling it "The Panda Tract." Which might enrage some uptight beauracrat who wants everyone to call it by its proper name, "T15".

They had to change the picture because the clothes were copied from a JC Penny catalog and did not give the name of the designer/manufacturer. Pennys said it was ok if they paid for the use of the designs. The WT opted to redo the picture. They have done this before with Eddie Bauer and Lands End.

On a side note Giant Pandas were observed killing and eating sheep in China. It appears the animal because of hunger reverted to it's previous diet of meat, like it's Lesser Panda cousin, when Bamboo was being affected by a drought. It seems the evolutionarily recent adaptation to a diet of bamboo hasn't erased the instinct to hunt. Maybe the cute and cuddly Panda is not the poster animal they thought it was.
