I suspect they are more than a "tad nervous." With Bill Bowen who is a constant thorn in their sides, sitting on 6000 names they are probably shaking in their boots. Eighty five million for 500 people, compared to Bill Bowen's 6000 names----well you get the picture. The wts may not be able to survive all of this, at least not financially. Divide 85 million by 500 and get the total for one of those folks and then multiply that by 6000. Glad I'm not in their shoes. Bug
Bet their accounting dept, is crunching the numbers now.
Hmmmm $170.000.00 avg. x 6000 cases = $1.2 billion. Might have to hold off on that WankingHill Expansion !
Well, I hope they're shaking in their boots!
The JW issue needs more press or a suit against them won't fly.
This is sure hopefull news!
Thanx for bringing this to our attention!

There is a clear connection between the archdiocese and the clergy in the RC church. Within the organisation of JWs, the relationship between the WTBTS, elders and individual JWs is kept fuzzy. The WTBTS has a record of avoiding any legal precedent to be set on the relationship between JW elders and itself. This will complicate any attempt to sue the WTBTS over the action or inaction of individual JWs or elders.
Expert at having things both ways - do not report allegations because it disrupts clergy confidentiality, but the WTBTS won't take responsibility for the untrained unpaid volunteers who cease to be clergy when legal action occurs.
I am hoping that the courts will see through this nonsense--led by the precedent set by the catholics. Hope hope hope!
