I was just wondering, considering everyone fails God at some point.
Do you think the men who wrote the Bible failed God in carrying His word?

Yeah I think they failed god. Since I don't think they had anything to do with god.

A few of them were raving lunatics. A few of them historians. A few of them propagandists. One or two may have been nice guys. The person who should have written the nt didn't. What has 'god' got to do w the bible, anyway?? They didn't fail 'god' anymore than they failed the sun, the moon, or king tut.

I have no opinion on the writings themselves. The Bible has got some good bits mixed in with the crap as others on this thread have said better than I.
I judge the book based on the actions and agendas of those who follow it.
Disappointment hardly describes it.

I believe the men who wrote the Bible failed every human being affected adversely by the words they wrote.....

The men who wrote the bible created a god - a cruel and petty god, true but nonetheless a popular one.
