I met him in the 80s and I wore the blue jacket he had on in one of his vids, man I boast.
Strange thing is, I met him and Kirsty Machole the same time and now they are both dead...sad.

he was a most charming man. I read the CNN link, sounds like the world lost another good guy(johnny, john riter, and now him) so young.

What a tragedy - he was such a great talent. It's difficult to categorize him in a particular genre as his music has so many influences, he will be hugely missed.
