Will unrighteous survive Armageddon new light?

The Bible says there will be a resurrection of the unrighteous, and now they say it’s wrong to hope unrighteous loved ones die before the end because that would be stupid. Yes it is stupid.

If identical twins both left the truth and one died just before Armageddon and the other stayed alive then would he be killed only to be resurrected?

This new light doesn’t make any sense I know they say we just don’t know. But they seem to know that it is wrong to think if unrighteous loved ones die before then it gives them greater chance of being in the new world than if they were alive at the end.

I know it’s all rubbish anyway but assuming you were a PIMI then this new light is saying unrighteous one’s don’t need to die before the end, so unrighteous one’s may survive Armageddon?

That has always been a curious question, though. Is there a cutoff for when the opportunity for salvation can be lost? Is there a way to determine the chances of someone to achieve salvation based on the numerous scenarios on offer? Is it possible to improve your odds by dying young, or unexpectedly?

The ambiguity keeps true believers from wanting to stray. But the alternatives make a common mistake- assuming that god is so bound by rules that we can find loopholes to salvation. While there is some merit to the discussion of certain actions --if a parent murders their children to guarantee their salvation at the cost of their own, is that a selfless act?-- it's a very slippery slope to dance upon if we assume that god, who sits outside of the rules, can be coerced into following them. Remember... there are no lawyers in heaven.

They have made it a gray area now. Taken from another thread below but the WT is simply watering down all their doctrines to be very generic and open to interpretation to avoid issues in the future.

Old light: Once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-JWs. The “door of the ark” is closed. If you’re not an active baptized JW, you are doomed.

New light: Maybe some fold might take a stand for “the truth” even after the GT begins, but before Armageddon. “We just don’t know, Jehovah will do the right thing”.

Old light: Even though not every individual will receive a personal witness, those who are not active baptized JWs will be eternally killed at Armageddon anyway, “Something something community responsibility”.

New light: Jehovah can read hearts, maybe some people who would have responded favorably to a witness but didn’t get one might make it. “We just don’t know, Jehovah will do the right thing”.

Old light: Babies and children of non-JWs will be slaughtered right along with their parents at Armageddon, parents are responsible for the lives of their children.

New light: 350,000 babies are born every day, “Jehovah will do what is right, we just don’t know.”

Tonus and notsure, very good points.

This watering down is indeed a slippery slope. It’s like when you tell one lie then you have to tell more lies. They want to get out of it by saying we just don’t know. But if they say that too much then publishers will doubt they are who they claim to be.

Worse than that if they keep crapping on old light they are either saying Jehovah gave bad new light in the past or the alternative is the old members of the governing body were evil slave?

Whoever is reading these forums. Please bear this thought in mind.

For an organization who "claims" to speak for God,.they use the above ""weasel words" frequently.

You place your lives under erroneous doctrines,,which the "society" has been known to flip flop on.

Like that of blood comes to mind right away.

When your salvation rests on an organization who says ""we dont know"",, the ""gb is neither inspired or infallible".

Dont put your fate in an organization whether or not you survive Armageddon,,who often does complete U-turns on such critical doctrines.
