Imagining going back into a Kingdom Hall is truly the stuff of nightmares. Have never gone back after being in 50 years and out 10.

I went back one time that was for my mothers funeral. I will go for my wifes father and or mothers funeral but that will be it.

When I left in 1981, I knew I would never step foot inside a Kingdom Hall ever again. And now, a few years short of 40 years ago, I haven’t and I won’t.

I would only go for the Funeral of a close family member, or an old dear friend, if invited.

Though the latest outline for Funerals is a bit better, it tells the guy giving the talk to give a kind of Eulogy ( subject material strictly controlled of course) , it still sickens me to have to listen to Scriptures read out of context and by a guy with no real Scriptural knowledge.

Go back in any real sense ? No chance, I know too much, and realize that it is simply as far as the leaders are concerned, the G.B and their assistants, a Money Making Scam.
