They get guys from NYC and Jersey to be in those pics....generally you have to be 'connected', to get in there, you know, with your head squarely up some Elder/DO/CO's ass.

I think that these extreme photos are perfect for getting kids out of JWs. I remember being a kid, and looking at these exaggerated photos, doctored stories, and thinking, do they think that all kids are this stupid.

But, that's not the point. The abusive parents, who enfore the rule of idiocy, look at those extreme pics and gasp! "My goodness gracious! My child will certainly never look like that! I'll make sure to limit all activities that could be the least bit stimulating, spy on them and invade their privacy, and if needed, abuse the hell out of them to make them listen to me. If that doesn't work, I'll just throw them out of the house and pretend they're dead."

Almost looks like my youngest (18) son. He doesn't have a tatoo (that I know of) but both ears and an eyebrow are pierced and he has a hairstyle that could best be described as "unique." (Dreads on top, shaved on the sides, bolts through the dreads, I'm not sure what color it all is today).

We got out about the time the older two were becoming teenagers. I'm glad we did because we were able to take a view, that if the worst thing any of them did was wear their hair funny and listen to music we didn't like, we were good parents. That attitude would certainly have led to about a million meetings with the elders. Can they DF you for letting your kid be a kid?
