  I see that there's no offers of financial aid from the billion-dollar org!

  Silly me, why would a charity use its cash to financially assist people in trouble?

  Thank you everyone!

  On TV I continue to see all kinds of people offering help to people they have never met and don't know, yet the Watchtower won't even offer a bowl of soup.

  In fact, they continue to remind the flock about donations!

  There is no "low" the Watchtower will not stoop to when it comes to money.

  I’m actually impressed they even talk about mechanisms for helping members materially—doesn’t happen often. Plus the suggestion that judicial matters are not a priority right now. This is definitely a genuine letter?

  What funds do the congregation have to help anyone these days? Here in the UK the congregation is only allowed to retain 3 months operating expenses, anything they have over and above this has to be sent to the Branch Office each month.

  Prior to this change our congregation had thousands of pounds in the bank, even after sending bequests to the society. There would have been funds to help needy ones. Those days are gone. The big asset strip made sure of that.

  Material support needed:

  1) family? If not

  2) Government? if not

  3) congregation? if not

  ??????

  Funny, the Government is suddenly a better option to seek material support than congregation or even the WT org.... it says a lot.

  As Petra pointed out the first , and last , destination for your donation is to be the JW website...... however , the last point of call for material help is to be themselves!

  They would have the old sisters calling on food banks for the needy before helping their own......

  The WT is a one way street. I asked jw dad about what the WTS is doing . To help people or just jws in need. I got called SATAN THE DEVIL',. AND a opposer to Jehovah. After that I got cursed out
