I never used the 3 1/2 floppy... I only used the 8 inch Hard Drives.

Got a good laugh out of that.
But on a slightly more serious note, I don't know what I'd do without the internet/computers nowadays.
The freedom of information, and just the sheer fact we can get together here on line (lovely apostates) and not feel lost or misunderstood, is indeed, a wonderful thing.
I left the JWs in the fall of 1983, and was gone for sure in the spring of 1984. No internet, no support groups. Things were pretty bleak back then.

I can't imagine what I would have done without the internet to help me see sense. I would most prob be still in, still with those nagging doubt being pushed to the back of my mind.
It must be a great relief to find web forums/sites etc; like this one. It would be a living hell to be uniformed and think you have turned your back on God.
