I want to see how the numbers went down in the Americas and UK... and where they went up! What poor suckers are going into it now?

Considering that the corporation places all their emphasis on numbers and statistics, take what they print with a large grain of salt. Realize how many hours, studies, placements even publishers are falsified just to inflate the numbers.

In our own case, Nina has probably been getting credit for 4 hours a month (maybe even a bible study) for over a year. The last time the congregation secretary called her for her time, (I think it was August or September last year) she told him she hadn't been out for several months and hadn't been to meetings in 2 or 3 months.

His reply was to ask her if she studied the Bible with Jennie and Jackson, when she said she read to them every night, he gleefully said, "See that's 4 hours right there! I'll go ahead and mark you down for that." That's the last we heard.

So, I maintain that most of these numbers are bogus. But if they want to feel good about phantom publishers spending endless fake hours, then I say go for it.
