There is going to be an off-broadway musical about a JW couple?s life in and departure from the WTS. The play is entitled ?The Good Faith? and will run from November 20th through December 7th at La Mama Theatre in New York. The # for reservations is (212) 475-7710. I first came across the Rawe?s story on the Beacon a couple years ago. It?s a very unusual story. Here?s the link:

Yes, that looks very interesting. I spotted that too on Channel C, and put a link in on Kent's forum. Channel C is always worth a read - an excellent forum with many quality contributors.
Wishing you well, sKally
Some 10 years or so ago, in San Francisco, a play was produced about a boy growing up in a JW household; the adults were all pretty weird. Read a review of it in the SF Chronicle at the time. Believe it was called: God Folk, but am not sure.
I would love to see this show.

I seem to recall a drama on the first district assembly I attended...they told how horrible higher education was and said that one of the characters who had gone to college "Had become a playwright," which was met with gasps by the characters...I wonder if this was him?
Now, if the WTBTS was really sneaky, they'd pose as doormen at the theatre and see if any Witnesses were going in to see the evil play.
